A TEENAGER has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a horse at Kia Ora.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the girl was horse riding at the Kia Ora Pony Club on Anderleigh Rd when she fell from the horse and then the horse fell on top of her.
She was knocked unconscious and was not breathing when others called triple-0 at about 9:15am.
By the time ambulance officers arrived, she was awake and breathing again.
The girl suffered head and abdominal injuries and was airlifted to Nambour Hospital at 10:33am.
