Winx in the box seat to continue winning streak

WINX has drawn ideally in barrier three as she prepares to notch her 19th consecutive win in Saturday's Chelmsford Stakes at Randwick.

The champion mare was one of 12 horses to accept for the 1600m Group 2 feature today.

Foxplay, who ran second to Winx in the Warwick Stakes earlier this month, did not accept for the Chelmsford Stakes.

Chris Waller said Winx has bounced through her first-up Warwick Stakes win in super fashion despite the great mare having to put out all stops to win after missing the start by four lengths.

The Chelmsford Stakes is Race 7 on the Randwick program and will be run at 3.50pm.
