WATCH: A timelapse of life on Sunshine Coast
TAKE it all in.
This is the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
An international student living on the Coast has shared his timelapse video of life in the region to simply "show how beautiful the place is."
Dennis Tornstrom's timelapse video has gained much praise for showcasing the Coast.
From the ocean, to the canals and atop mountains, the 28-year-old captured the beauty of the region from behind the lens.
Mr Tornstrom is currently studying a bachelor in computer based design at the University of the Sunshine Coast and has been living on the Coast for two-and-a-half years.
"I love everything about the Coast, such an amazing experience for me to move here from Sweden and to enjoy everything that the Sunshine Coast has to offer," Mr Tornstrom said.
"Great places, great people, great vibes.
"I had a friend from Sweden who studied here before me so what he shared from this place was more than enough to get me motivated for this adventure.
The timelapse video was part of a university assignment. The brief- a three-minute video on any topic.
"I borrowed my mums DSLR and started to do photography last August and I became pretty hooked right away so I knew I wanted to do something around that when it came to this project," Mr Tornstrom said.
"Timelapse videos is such a cool and different way to see our natural environment we live in every day so I started to experiment with that and it kinda escalated from there.
"I like how you can compress time like that and watch how everything moves around us in a way that we normally can't see.
"So it became a really relaxing hobby just watching how nature and people moved in different scenarios waiting for the camera to take the shots I've set up.
"It was truly a pleasure making the video and I'm happy to share it with anyone who would enjoy it. I'm also glad to have the video as a memory of this amazing place when I eventually move back to Sweden."
