RUGBY LEAGUE: A show of temper has cost Manly centre Dylan Walker a breach notice and $10,000 fine from the club and a month out of the game.

Nursing a sore right hand, Walker was accompanied by his partner when he met with Sea Eagles officials yesterday and admitted punching the front door of his apartment on Saturday night.

“They admitted Walker struck out with frustration when he had trouble opening the wooden front door to his apartment,” the Sea Eagles said in a statement.

“He and his partner immediately drove to the casualty department of St Vincent’s Hospital for x-rays and treatment.”

He was to have further scans yesterday on his injured hand.

The Bulldogs copped some bad news too yesterday when they learnt the extent of centre Chase Stanley’s knee injury.

Stanley, who has been plagued by injuries this season, is out for the rest of the year after tearing an anterior cruciate ligament in reserve grade against the Wests Tigers on Saturday.
