Two men evacuated from suspicious fire in Bowen Hills

POLICE are investigating following a suspicious fire at a block of units in Bowen Hills yesterday.

Around 7pm police and emergency services were called to the premises on Cintra Road following reports of a fire.

Fire services extinguished the blaze which caused moderate damage to the building. Two men were safely evacuated from their units during the incident and no one was injured.

The fire is being treated as suspicious with investigations into the cause of the fire continuing.

Police are appealing for anyone that may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
