Two-car crash sends afternoon commute into chaos

BREAKING: A two-vehicle pile-up north of Toowoomba has left one person with injuries and sent afternoon commutes into chaos.

Emergency services are at the scene of the crash reported at the corner of Plaza Circle and New England Hwy at Highfields.

One person, believed to be a woman, was trapped in one of the vehicles.

Traffic is believed to be congested around the area with motorists advised to plan for possible delays.
