Travel trouble play promises laughs galore

SEATS are still available for the Ipswich Musical Theatre Company's remaining performances of Secrets Every Smart Traveller Should Know.

Guests who book tickets for the dinner theatre performances this Friday and Saturday will be treated to a three-course meal, in addition to the locally produced comedy romp.

Director Brenda Ryan said the show looked at the funnier side of international jet-setting disasters.

"Have you ever arrived in one city and your luggage is spinning around on a carousel in another city of the world?," she said.

"Have you ever arrived on your second or third honeymoon to find your ex is honeymooning at the same hotel?

"Have you had to deal with pesky customs officers?"

Theatre buffs who book a table of eight will receive a discount.

For bookings, phone Pat on 0419 665 049.

THE Ipswich Musical Theatre Company will hold auditions for its next production, The Sound of Music, at the Old Courthouse, on Monday, June 10 starting at 12.0pm.

The Sound of Music will be performed at the Ipswich Civic Centre in September this year.
