POLICE have charged three girls who allegedly set fire to a club house at Tingalpa sports field several months ago.

Emergency services were called the blaze about 10.15pm on September 26, where they found the building engulfed in flames.

Police had to close nearby Manly Rd as fire crews spent nearly two hours fighting the blaze.

Detective yesterday charged three girls, aged 14 and 15, with trespass, endangering property by fire and arson.
