Three charged after death of one-year-old Mason Jet Lee

UPDATE: DRAMATIC scenes at the Toowoomba Courthouse this morning when a woman was set to appear for the manslaughter of one-year-old Mason Jet Lee.

The 27-year-old Caboolture South woman, believed to be Ann-Marie Lee, was arrested and charged in Toowoomba yesterday (Friday).

She was due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates court this morning.

Around the time of her scheduled appearance an ambulance was called to the watch house.

There is speculation that the Queensland Ambulance Service responded to someone in the compound who tried to harm themselves.  

An ambulance spokesman would not confirm the speculation, saying that an ambulance was called for a medical case.

Officials would not confirm if the arrested woman had appeared in court.

Several members of the media waited outside the courthouse but were not allowed access and officials would not confirm if there had been a sitting.

EARLIER: TWO men and a woman have been charged after the June 11 death of one-year-old Mason Jet Lee at Caboolture.

The three have been charged with manslaughter.

A 35-year-old Hazeldean man was arrested and charged yesterday in Brisbane and will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.

A 27-year-old Caboolture South woman was arrested and charged in Toowoomba yesterday and will appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court today.

A 17-year-old Morayfield man was also arrested and charged yesterday and will appear in the Caboolture Magistrates court today.
