A TEENAGE boy has been airlifted after a motocross accident on Friday.

RACQ LifeFlight said the Bundaberg-based rescue helicopter airlifted the teenager after he sustained multi-trauma injuries after a motocross accident this morning

"It is believed he came off the bike when he sustained upper, lower, and mid body injuries,” LifeFlight said.

He was transported from the South Burnett region to an unspecified hospital in a stable condition.
