Taylor Swift visits fans in hospital while in Queensland

IT WAS a long way from her world-conquering 1989 album tour, but these fans were just as delighted to see Taylor Swift in the flesh.

After arriving in Queensland last week with hunky British beau Tom Hiddleston, Swift took some time to visit young patients at the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in Brisbane on Tuesday.

One of those was the Sunshine Coast's Bella Harry, who is battling bone cancer at 13.

Bella captured a few quiet moments and video with the blonde superstar, sharing it with her own supporters on Instagram.

"Just taking some selfies with Tay Tay," she wrote.

A short video has Taylor telling Bella, "now you have to take it because I'm going to kiss you on the cheek".

A post on the Benefit4Bella Facebook page said Bella was in the hospital on Tuesday getting some "more precious blood" when her "favourite super star" dropped in.

Bella has been in and out of hospital after a scan revealed the Bli Bli teenager had a 15cm bone tumor just above her right knee.

This time last year she met Johnny Depp when he made a brief tour of Lady Cilento Children's Hospital while filming the latest installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise on the Gold Coast.

Bella was also one of three patients from the hospital chosen to attend the Logies for Juice TV earlier this year.

The Benefit4Bella Facebook page thanked all those involved for making Tuesday's visit happen.

"Huge thanks to our special friends and medical team for making this happen," the post said.

Swift is also understood to have written a note to the nursing staff that read, "Thank you for all the work you do, you are amazing".
