Taxi driver robbed at knife-point in Logan

POLICE are investigating an armed robbery of a taxi driver in Logan Central.

Around 12.30am a 29-year-old taxi driver collected two men from Omar Street in Woodridge. The men asked the driver to stop at the intersection of Albert Street and Ewing Road, Logan Central. Once there, both men produced a knife and demanded money from the driver.

The driver complied with demands and the men fled on foot with a sum of cash and were last seen on Jean Street. The driver was not physically injured during the incident.

Investigations are continuing.
