Sunshine Coast base jumpers charged after crane stunt

THREE Sunshine Coast base jumpers -- two men from Bli Bli and a woman from Glass House Mountains -- have jumped from a building crane in Brisbane City, before landing in the Botanical Gardens.

The crane was sitting on top of a building being built on the corner of Albert and Alice streets.

The trio apparently then fled across the Goodwill Bridge.

Police caught the trio plus a fourth man from Deagon, on nearby Lower River Tce.

All four -- aged between 24 and 33 -- have been given notices to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 10, charged with "unregulated high risk activity".

Police are still investigating.
