A BRISBANE man accused of killing his dad in a one-punch attack will undergo a mental health assessment at a court's request.
Morgan Alexander Isles-English, 25, appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court charged with unlawful striking causing death.
He is accused of punching his father, Mark Bradley McGrice, in the head outside Brisbane's Central Station on Monday. Mr McGrice died in hospital on Tuesday night.
Magistrates John Costello ordered Mr Isles-English undergo a mental health assessment.
The matter was adjourned until August 15.
Mr Isles-English was remanded in custody.

Morgan Alexander Isles-English, 25, has been charged with unlawful striking causing death after his father died in hospital on Tuesday night.
Mr Isles-English appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with grievous bodily harm but will return to court today to face the upgraded charge.
The Courier Mail reports Mr Isles-English was estranged from his father. Police allege Mr Isles-English saw his father on Ann St near Brisbane's Central Station on Monday before he approached him an punched him once in the head.
His father was taken to the Brisbane Royal and Women's Hospital but died from his injuries.
