POLICE remain at the scene of a single vehicle accident near Esk, after they received a call from a passer-by at about 7am this morning.

Officers found a Nissan Patrol station wagon had crashed off Esk-Hampton Road at Redbank, with the 45-year-old driver found unconscious inside the vehicle.

The man was transported by ambulance to Toowoomba Hospital, with 'non-serious' injuries.

Police are still on site, and ask drivers to take care in the area, as there will be some temporary road closures while the vehicle is recovered.
