Samoan star on his way to join up with Dragons

HARD-running Samoan international Mose Masoe will return to the NRL next season after being signed to a two-year deal by St George Illawarra.

The power-hitting prop, who played for Penrith before helping St Helens to a Super League title in England last year, has played seven Tests for his native Samoa and more than 100 first grade games.

At 26, the Dragons believe he can add some real sting to their pack in 2016.

Masoe made his first-grade debut for the Sydney Roosters in 2010 before linking with the Penrith Panthers in 2013 and joining St Helens last year.

"Mose will be a welcome addition to the club. He will provide both the additional size and go-forward which is vital in all strong forward-packs," Dragons director of recruitment and retention Peter Mulholland said.

Masoe (pictured) will join the Dragons in November.
