Rockhampton teacher diagnosed with Whooping Cough

ROCKHAMPTON parents are being urged to monitor their children for Whooping Cough symptoms after a local relief teacher was diagnosed with the serious, contagious respiratory infection.

Posts on the Frenchville and Mount Archer State Primary Schools' Facebook pages yesterday afternoon confirmed a casual teacher had advised she had been diagnosed with Whooping Cough.

Both schools posted on Facebook this morning that notification about potential Whooping Cough exposure would be sent out to the class who had the supply teacher diagnosed today.

If your child displays any symptoms, please seek medical advice.
