EELS coach Brad Arthur says the addition of Jeff Robson will take the pressure off five-eighth Corey Norman against the Roosters at Pirtek Stadium tomorrow night.

The veteran playmaker raced across the Tasman to sign a mid-season transfer from the Warriors two hours before the June 30 deadline.

Arthur was delighted the 33-year-old signed in time, with star No.7 Kieran Foran’s (shoulder) season over.

“With three halves being injured it’s been a big job that he (Norman) has had to take on and Robbo will take a bit of pressure off him,” Arthur said.

Club captain Tim Mannah and Brad Takairangi will return from injuries for the Eels.

For the struggling Roosters, Joseph Manu starts on the wing while forward Isaac Liu will run on at lock, with Ryan Matterson and Chris Smith added to a five-man bench.

Aidan Guerra (Queensland) and Blake Ferguson (New South Wales) are on Origin duties.
