UPDATE: Driver assessed for spinal injuries

UPDATE 10AM: QUEENSLAND Ambulance Service says a woman is being checked for spinal injuries following a crash this morning.

Emergency services were called to the single vehicle accident at the intersection of Esk-Hampton Rd and Slaughter Rd, Redbank Ck, about 8.55am.

A woman aged in her 30s was initially reported as being trapped.

Firefighters attended to assist the injured woman from the vehicle about 9.40am, but cutting gear was not required.

The woman is now in the hands of QAS, who says she is being taken to hospital to assess possible spinal injuries.

Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

EARLIER: THERE are reports of a woman trapped in a vehicle following a crash this morning.

Queensland Ambulance Service says paramedics are now on the scene of a single vehicle accident at Redbank Ck, near Esk.

The incident was reported on Esk-Hampton Rd about 8.55am.

Firefighters are also on their way in case the woman needs to be cut free.
