QLD: Woman bitten by snake taken to hospital


A WOMAN has been transported to Hervey Bay Hospital after being bitten by a snake of an undetermined species about 2pm today. 

News Limited reports the woman was bitten on the foot on the corner of Charlton Esplanade and Wattle St at the Point Vernon Foreshore Reserve.

The Queensland Ambulance Service has reportedly confirmed she was then transported to hospital.
