Qld mum scared after cracking nine double-yolked Coles eggs

A QUEENSLAND mother has taken to Facebook asking Coles whether or not there is something seriously wrong with the supermarket's free range eggs.

Marina McLeod posted a photo of her extremely rare find on Coles' Facebook page, saying her family was now too scared to eat any of them.

"Did I just win the food lottery or is there something seriously wrong with these Coles eggs - 9 out of 12 eggs were doubles?!!" Ms Macleod posted.

"Kids and I are too scared to eat them - but Google says they're perfectly safe and a sign of luck - I'm buying a lotto ticket today.

"Has this happened to anyone else?"

Coles responded offering her a refund.

"Thanks for sharing your double yolk discovery, Mariana… we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all Coles branded products so please feel free to return with the packaging or your receipt to any store for a full refund or replacement," Coles replied.
