A WOMAN has been busted allegedly driving almost six times over the legal limit near Goondiwindi.
Police allege the 46-year-old Ipswich woman had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.296 after she was pulled over for a roadside breath test on the Barwon Hwy on Thursday.
She was released on bail and will appear before the Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on September 16.
The high-range drink driving charge is among a number of traffic offences reported by the region's police in the past week.

On Sunday a 25-year-old Goondiwindi man was breathalysed on McLean St, allegedly returning a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.106. He will also appear in Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on September 16.
A young Ipswich man has been charged with mid-range drink driving after allegedly returning a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.127 on Saturday afternoon.
The 19-year-old will appear in Goondiwindi Magistrates Court on September 15.
Meanwhile, Stanthorpe police continue to crack down on drug drivers.
Two men in their 20's were charged with drug driving offences within hours of each other on Wednesday afternoon.
A 21-year-old from the Summit and a 24-year-old from Stanthorpe both returned positive readings.
Stanthorpe police officer-in-charge Mark Ireland said their saliva tests have been forwarded for analysis.
Another four drivers also tested positive for drugs during roadside tests in Warwick at the weekend.
