Palu out of action for Crusaders game after head knock

THE Waratahs will be without imposing No.8 Wycliff Palu as they try to beat the Crusaders for the first time in Canterbury since 2004 tomorrow night.

Palu failed to recover from a head knock and captain Dave Dennis will switch to No.8 with Pat McCutcheon coming in to the starting 15 at blindside flanker.

Coach Michael Cheika has reverted to the combinations that brought success against the Brumbies two weeks ago, starting scrumhalf Brendan McKibbin and inside centre Rob Horne, and moving Matt Lucas and Berrick Barnes to the bench.

Winger Cam Crawford (thigh) returns in place of Drew Mitchell.
