Nine charged with murder over Debbie Combarngo death

NINE people have been charged with murder following an investigation into the death of Debbie Combarngo earlier this month.

Ms Combarngo, 37, was critically injured the afternoon of May 6 when police allege nine people armed with various weapons stormed the upper level unit of a Wilsonton complex.

The 37-year-old was rushed to Toowoomba Hospital where she died that afternoon.

Nine people arrested nearby the housing estate were initially charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and enter with intent, and each had matters mentioned before the courts.

Christine Maree Hall, Rhonda Ann Hall, Ty Peter Fing, Ashley Aaron Fing, Rhianna Jade Fing, Jana Leigh Hall, Shiralee Fernando, Joshua James Lingwoodock and Lynn Fay Jean Anderson will appear in court this afternoon.

Detectives today confirmed all nine had been charged with murder.

They are due to appear in court this afternoon.
