Neighbour punched to the face for walking across yard

A 50-YEAR-OLD was punched to the head while walking through what's believed to be a public area at the front of a yard on the Fraser Coast.

An 18-year-old, believed to be the man's neighbour yelled at him to stop cutting through the yard.

When the victim approached the teenager to talk about the matter, police said the 28-year-old allegedly hit the man to the left side of his forehead with a closed fist and yelled abusive threats.

Police are investigating the incident that happened in Maryborough.
