Nambour service station evacuated amid gas leak fears

A NAMBOUR service station has been evacuated with fears of a gas leak on the premises. 

Firefighters were called just before 11.30am with reports of a leak at a Nambour Connection Rd station. 

Firefighters are investigating the leak, which is believed to be sourced back to an area near a pump at the Coles Express service station. 

Queensland Ambulance Service has been called as a precaution.
