Miller calls for renewed Goodna Cultural Centre

JO-ANN Miller has called on the Premier to return the Goodna Cultural and Arts Centre to its former glory.

The Bundamba MP said the cultural centre had been converted into a gym - and she believed Goodna had lacked a cultural centre since.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said she was unaware of the GCAC but would look into it.

Ms Palasczuk, who is also the Arts Minister, said she was committed to cultural funding in regional areas.

"I'm more than happy to look into the issues you've raised," she said.

"We have dynamic arts groups and communities flourishing across the state." - ARM NEWSDESK
