Crack pipe in crack offender applies for bail

A TOOWOOMBA man is applying to the Supreme Court to be released from jail because he claims his circumstances have changed.

Aaron Trent Bidgood's bail application was mentioned for the first time at Brisbane Supreme Court on Wednesday when his lawyers asked for an adjournment so they could get more material to support his case.

In May this year Mr Bidgood was sentenced to jail with immediate parole after police found a drug utensil - a pipe - between his buttocks.

The bail application relates to a separate charge Mr Bidgood is facing.

The court heard Mr Bidgood was applying for bail because his circumstances had changed.

His bail hearing will be held at Brisbane Supreme Court on Tuesday.
