Man Utd set to sign Pogba for record $176m

FOOTBALL: He was released by Sir Alex Ferguson for nothing four years ago but Paul Pogba is set to return Manchester United for a world record $176 million.

Reports in England suggest the French international will earn more than $500,000 a week on a five-year contract if he signs from Juventus after Euro 2016.

Pogba, 23, has won four Serie A titles in the past four years with Juventus since leaving Old Trafford.

If he does, as expected, join Jose Mourinho’s revolution, the transfer will beat the $146 million Real Madrid paid Tottenhan for Gareth Bale in 2013.
