Man killed in collision with horse float truck

A 23-year-old man has been killed after the car he was driving hit a horse float truck at Beaudesert this morning. 

Just before 6am his car hit the pantech truck head-on on the IL-Bogan Bridge. 

The driver was trapped in his car and died at the scene from his injuries.

The 34-year-old male driver of the truck was not injured in the crash.

There were no horses in the truck.

Traffic diversions are still in place on the Beaudesert Boonah Road and are expected to remain in place for another few hours.
