Man hospitalised after stationary car hit from behind

POLICE are investigating a traffic crash that occurred at Burbank last night.

Initial inquiries suggest at about 7pm a vehicle was stationary on the side of Mount Cotton Road when a vehicle has collided with it from behind.

A 32-year-old Sunshine Coast woman, who was the driver of the stationary vehicle, has been transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

Investigations continue.
