POLICE cars surrounded the scene of a tragic accident on a property near Milman yesterday afternoon.

Emergency crews rushed to the Hanschens Rd property at 2pm, after reports that a 65-year-old man had been run over by a vehicle.

Yesterday at the scene, there was a truck with a trailer carrying several large water tanks in the driveway of the property.

WIN news reported that the man had been repairing cyclone damage when he fell off the truck and was then run over.

A police spokesperson said the accident is believed to be a workplace health and safety incident.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
