Man charged following armed home invasion


A MAN has been charged following an incident that occurred in Bundamba on May 11.

Around 8pm, three men armed with firearms entered a residence on Videroni Street and it will be alleged that they made demands for money and property.

The three occupants in the dwelling complied and handed the men wallets, mobile phones and keys to a car.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.

A 17-year-old Bundamba man has been charged with three counts of armed robbery and one count each of enter dwelling with intent and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on August 17.
