HERE is a serious NBN (National Broadband Network) Dodo Service Flaw.
I have just discovered a major issue with the NBN, in that Dodo, (and possibly others) get you to unplug your home phone from the old copper network line, and plug it into their "Dodo Go-Hub" modem that connects to the NBN box.
Phone calls are good, and I (hearing impared) can now hear people a bit more clearly than before, but having dialed a number, the key pad no longer connects with computer monitored services on the line. eg. I phone Dodo (my service provider) it connect, and then says for ### press 1, for @@@ press 2, etc, but even though I am pressing the selected keys, and it is coming up on my phone's screen, the other end is not recognising it.
So how do I phone to get Tech Support, when I can't get to the phone option?
I used to pay my bill over the phone by credit card. Now that and many other government services are denied to me. I have tried my Uniden, a Telstra, and another.. all to no avail...
Now I am being told I may have to buy a new phone. Thanks for telling me NBN.
