Koschitzke cops ban for striking Collingwood's Jamie Elliott

ST Kilda forward Justin Koschitzke will miss his team's matches against Carlton and Adelaide after accepting a two-week ban for striking Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott in Friday's match at Etihad Stadium.

And Carlton forward Jarrad Waite will also be watching on against the Saints on Monday night after taking an early plea for a head-butt on Melbourne's Tom McDonald on the weekend.

The match was Waite's first in 2013 after battling a calf injury - he will be available for the clash against Port on May 19. Had he elected to challenge the charge at the tribunal he would have risked a two-game ban.
