THE jury in the manslaughter case into junior Bronco Todd Parnell's death has been dismissed after being unable to reach a verdict.

Wally James Hung, 24, had pleaded not guilty in Brisbane Magistrates Court to killing Mr Parnell with one punch during a 21st party at Bribie Island in July, 2009.

Mr Parnell hit the ground after the punch and died the next day.

They were this afternoon offered the option for a majority verdict - 11-1.
