Have you got talent?

WHETHER you can sing like a canary, dance like Michael Jackson or act like a Hollywood A-lister, Booval's Oz Night Market wants to hear from you.

The popular multicultural food markets are hosting their first Got Talent competition to show off Ipswich's most entertaining acts.

One of the event organisers Ruth O'Dowd said entrants could submit a 30 second video audition along with their name and contact details until entries close at 11pm on Saturday.

"There are so many talented people in Ipswich," Ms O'Dowd said.

"We wanted to provide a platform for people to showcase their talent, whatever that is.

"We've already got a lot of auditions coming in for both our 15 and under and 16 and above sections."

Ms O'Dowd said the first round of the competition was a people's choice, with the number of Facebook likes determining those who get to the second round.

Entrants can bring their video to Oz Night Market on a USB each Saturday evening between 6-8.30pm or send a link to info@oznightmarket.com.au.

Vote for entries at the #GotTalent Audition | STAGE 1 | Let's Do This! Facebook page.

Successful entries will go into the second round of heats held live on stage at the Oz Night Market on September 19 and 26.

The live Got Talent finals will then be held on October 3 and 10.
