Man to face trial for murder of four-month-old son

A MAN will stand trial over the murder of his four-month-old son who was found unresponsive in a Maryborough home in September 2013.

Ry Liam Smith, 25, appeared before Maryborough Magistrates Court last week to face a committal hearing on charges of murder and failing to supply the necessities of life for his son, Lennox Eddy.

Magistrate John Smith committed the matter to trial in the Supreme Court on a date yet to be set.
