Fraser Coast beach closed for sand push

THE beach between Tooan Tooan Creek and the Scarness jetty will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week for beach nourishment works.

Trucks will transport sand from the mouth of Tooan Tooan Creek to be placed in front of the rock wall leading up to the Scarness jetty.

The beach will be closed during the day.

The work is in addition to smaller sand pushes undertaken on other sections of Hervey Bay beaches.
