Fourth man charged with murder in Michael McCabe case

DETECTIVES investigating the suspicious disappearance of Michael McCabe have tonight charged a fourth person with murder.

A 31-year-old Townsville man has been charged with one count of murder and is expected to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on Monday, September 21.

Mr McCabe was last seen by family in Charters Towers on August 15 and was later reported as missing to police.

As a result of ongoing investigations, the body of a man was located at Crystal Creek on Thursday.

Three other people, two men and a woman, were charged Friday evening with murder.
