Salmonella outbreak investigation finds link to fruit

YOU may want to think twice about eating rockmelon amid fears of a possible salmonella outbreak.

Food Standards Australia said authorities were investigating cases of salmonella possibly associated with the fruit after an increase in infections, according to

There has been advice released by FSANZ for consumers, in particular infants, the elderly and pregnant women to avoid eating rockmelon until further information becomes available. 

FSANZ will continue to work with authorities and update its advice to consumers.
