First music video in space is a real Space Oddity
COMMANDER Chris Hadfield has recorded what is possibly the first music video made in space with his own version of Space Oddity by David Bowie.
The clip was recorded on board the International Space Station using Hadfield's Guitar and Vocals before being produced planetside by Joe Corcoran.
Commander Hadfield has gained significant popularity and a over 773,000 followers on Twitter during his time as commander of the ISS.
Over Christmas Hadfield recorded his own christmas song, Jewel in the Night and uploaded it to Soundcloud and Youtube.
"Huge thanks in the making of the video to the talented trio of @emmgryner, Joe Corcoran and @Tidby, plus @Evan_Hadfield and all at the CSA," Hadfield tweeted.
Commander Hadfield has been flying since he was fifteen, flown F-18s for the Canadian air force, been an Astronaut for the Canadian Space Agency and is now a civilian astronaut working out of Russia's space program.
