Driver crashes car into library

AN 88-YEAR-OLD man was treated for a minor leg injury after crashing his car into the Bundaberg Regional Library.

Emergency services were called to the incident at 9.15am on Saturday after the car crashed into the Woongarra St-side wall, causing two panels of glass to smash.

A Bundaberg police spokesman said the sole of the driver's shoe became stuck in the accelerator while he was in the car park, causing the car to hit the building.
