Family rallies around Dayne Ladbrook to support his fight

FAMILY and friends of Rockhampton man Dayne Ladbrook are rallying around him as he fights for his life in Royal Brisbane Hospital.

The 24-year-old was on his way home from work with two fellow workmates when they were involved in a horrific single-vehicle car accident on Port Alma Rd, Bajool on Monday afternoon.

While the driver of the car luckily escaped serious injuries, tragically 47-year-old Rockhampton man Neill Bulley lost his life and Dayne suffered serious injuries, including a leg amputation and injuries to his spine and chest.

Dayne was flown to Brisbane on Tuesday and remains in a critical but stable condition.

Family and friends of Dayne have set up a GoFundMe account to help ease the burden for the long road to recovery for Dayne.

The community responded quickly to the fundraiser, with 60 people donating close to $3500 in less than 24 hours.

Countless messages of support were also passed onto Dayne, his fiancé Teneile Davis and his family.

Messages included 'I love you buddy, stay strong', 'keep your chin up mate', 'wishing a fast recovery your way', 'praying for you all', 'see you soon for a beer bro', 'see you when you come home, I'll have a beer waiting', 'you're tough and I know you'll pull through this', 'all our love and support' and 'sending you love and positive vibes.'

Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated.
