DETECTIVES are investigating a suspicious house fire in Ipswich this morning.

Just after 2am police and emergency services attended a residence in Keogh Street, West Ipswich after reports of a house fire.

The fire was extinguished and the house received some structural damage as result of the fire.

The house was vacant at the time of the fire.

A crime scene has been declared and police and fire services are investigating the cause.
