Councillor's son stable after nightclub incident

A 19-YEAR-OLD male is stable in hospital with a head injury after an incident in a Mackay nightclub.

Mackay Regional Councillor Chris Bonanno's son, Joseph, was allegedly struck in the face about 1am on Sunday, at a venue in Victoria St.

Officers from Mackay Police attended the incident and Mackay Criminal Investigation Branch are  currently investigating.
