Community appear at party after mother's plea

A MOTHER who reached out online to the Gladstone community after just two people RSVP'd to her daughters' joint birthday on Sunday was warmed by people's kindness.

There were more than 10 children as party guests on Saturday at East Shores where Toni Grima held a Peppa Pig and Frozen party for her two daughters.

Ms Grima said the community response to her plea for guests so she didn't have to cancel the party was lovely with many people contacting her after a story published by The Observer.
