WATCH: Coast’s own 'Twinnies' cause international stir
THE Coast's own wildlife loving Twinnies have wowed the hosts of a British morning TV show - and its viewers - with their unique way of speaking.
Bridgette and Paula Powers, of Twinnies Pelican and Seabird Rescue, appeared on Good Morning Britain where they had host Piers Ackerman laughing uncontrollably just by answering one simple question.
It was the way they answered - in perfect unison - that caused the uproar.
When he asked the pair if they ever felt like they were one person, their word-for-word answer was spooky.
"Sometimes we do feel like one person yes we do, but we know that we are individuals though," the twins answered together.
It was too much for Ackerman.
"How can you keep a straight face?" he asked co-host Susanna Reid.
"This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen."
The twins appeared on the show to talk about their rescue centre in Landsborough, caring for sick and injured birds for 12 years.
