Coast agents in line for REIQ honours

COAST real estate agents are up for a swag of awards at this year's industry awards.

The 2018 Real Estate Institute Awards for Excellence acknowledge the top performers in real estate across the state.

One Coast real estate office has more finalists in the awards than any other agency in Queensland.

Amber Werchon Property, Mooloolaba, have five finalists in the awards, including the Large Residential Agency of the year category.

This is the third year in a row the agency have been a finalist in the category and are hoping to back up their win after taking out the converted prize last year.

"We are up against some fantastic Queensland real estate offices this year and it's an honour in itself to be named as a finalist in this category and to have our hard work recognised at this level,” director Amber Werchon said.

REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said there were a number of quality finalists in this year's awards categories.

"You are a leader within your profession, with a focus on achieving outstanding results and being named a finalist means you are already performing above many of your peers,” she said.

The REIQ is currently undertaking the interview process and winners will be announced on March 3 at a black tie event at the Royal International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Brisbane.

A full list of all the finalists can be found at www.reiq.com.
