Clive Palmer's helping hand for Beenleigh fire victims

QUEENSLAND politician Clive Palmer has come to the rescue of the Warwick-Campbell family who lost their two-year-old son in a house fire at Beenleigh on his birthday last month.

Mr Palmer paid six months rent in a $1 million property on the Gold Coast for the family, and has also provided them  with a car.

Their son, Roman Campbell-Warwick was killed in the May 14 fire that engulfed his family's home.

His mother Belinda Warwick managed to get four of her other children out of the house safely, while father Jaryd was out picking up the couple's eldest child from school.

The Logan House Fire Support Network has worked closely with the family since the fire, and confirmed Mr Palmer had phoned them with the generous offer.
